Municipal Support Programs and Subsidies for Housekeeping Services

Pinay Housekeeping Service is strengthening its partnerships with local governments to provide subsidized housekeeping services.

Currently, the following five support programs and subsidies are available:

• Minato City Pre/Postnatal Housekeeping Support Service
• Katsushika City Family Support Service
• Toshima City Childcare Helper Service
• Suginami City Childcare Support Voucher
• Tokyo Metropolitan Parenting Support Passport Program

Minato City Pre/Postnatal Housekeeping Support Service

【Overview】
This program provides partial subsidies from Minato City for housekeeping services or postpartum doula support for households with pregnant women or children under three years old residing in Minato City.

【Eligible Households & Usage Limit】

From pregnancy until the day before child’s first birthday: 128 hours

Until the day before child’s second birthday: 48 hours

Until the day before child’s third birthday: 48 hours

 [Service Fees (including tax and transportation)]

(Single pregnancy households)2 hours: 1,500 yen,3 hours: 2,250 yen,4 hours: 3,000 yen

Katsushika City Family Support Service

【Overview】
This program offers partial subsidies from Katsushika City for housekeeping support and outdoor assistance services to households with children under three years old or multiple pregnancy residents within Katsushika City.

【Eligibility Requirements】
All of the following conditions must be met:
○Residents of Katsushika City
○Households with children under three years old or with multiple pregnancies
(Until the day before the child’s third birthday)

【Service Fees】
300 yen per hour per support staff
*Additional transportation fee of 990 yen per visit applies

Toshima City Childcare Helper Service

【Overview】

This service is provided through the East and West Child and Family Support Centers for Toshima City residents with children under two years old, offering assistance with childcare and housekeeping tasks.

【Eligibility Requirements】

Toshima City residents with children under two years old. Available for use before childbirth.

*Prior registration at the Child and Family Support Center is required

【Service Fees】

900 yen per hour (1.5 times for multiple children)

Suginami City Childcare Support Voucher

【Overview】
This is Suginami City’s unique childcare support program that issues vouchers to households with pre-school children, making various childcare support services more accessible.

 【Eligible Plans】
Pinay Housekeeping Service Spot Plan (limited to regular housekeeping and cleaning)

 ■Available Services
◎Living Room & Room Cleaning
　Vacuuming, floor wiping, window cleaning, bed making, tidying and organizing
◎Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaning
　Dishwashing, kitchen organization, ventilation fan/stove/grill cleaning, bathroom cleaning, toilet cleaning
◎Laundry
　Washing, hanging, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes
◎Cooking
　Meal preparation, ingredient preparation
*Does not include childcare, English communication, or package reception services

 【How to Use】
Please mention “Suginami Childcare Support Voucher” when making an inquiry and present the voucher to the cleaning staff on the day of service.
(Maximum voucher value per use is 5,000 yen)

Tokyo Metropolitan Parenting Support Passport Program

【Overview】
This is a Tokyo Metropolitan Government initiative aimed at fostering social momentum for supporting child-rearing. The program enables businesses and stores to provide various services to households with children or expecting mothers.

【Service Fees】
500 yen discount on Prime Outlet Plan (one-time use only)

Corporate Welfare Trial Project for Housekeeping Support Services

【Overview】
This is a Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry-led “Corporate Welfare Trial Project” aimed at helping working men and women balance life events with career development in Japan’s labor-shortage environment. The project subsidizes two-thirds of housekeeping service fees for employees of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Regular Plan and Spot Plan

【Subsidy Rate】
Two-thirds of the service fee
